plywood table
completed 2012

a knock down table designed to be constructed from 15 laser cut plywood components without clue or fixings.
the structural sections consist of leg components which are laced together with rope which threaded through holes in the legs.
the spine consists of two longitudinal members and five crosspieces which slot together.
th eleg components butt against the spine members to add rigidity.
tabs on the frame components engage the slots cut in the table top to complete the structure.
the table is to be made from nominal 15mm hoop pine plywood, the dimensions allow the components for one table to be cut from one and a half sheets of material (assuming a 2400x1200 sheet size and 2700x1200mm)
